Sydney also topped clearance rates, reaching over 80% for the first time since April. Melbourne recorded just under 75%, a slight dip from recent weeks. Smaller capitals showed mixed outcomes. Brisbane hosted 124 auctions but saw a decline in volume, while Adelaide reported a 75% clearance rate from 106 auctions and Canberra achieved 76.7% from 63 sales, indicating steady results.
A notable sale took place midweek in Melbourne when an unrenovated South Yarra apartment sold for $6.16 million, more than $1 million over its price guide.
