Pro Medicus is locking in a major foothold in the US healthcare market, signing a seven-year $90 million deal with Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston. The agreement embeds Pro Medicus’ Visage 7 cloud-based imaging platform across the integrated health system.
Beth Israel Lahey Health operates 14 hospitals that serve patients across eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. ASX disclosures confirm the long-term contract structure and rollout timeline.
Beth Israel Lahey Health plans to deploy Visage 7 across its network, standardising medical imaging workflows on a single cloud platform. Implementation planning starts immediately, with Pro Medicus and the health system working toward a first-quarter 2027 go-live date.
The phased timetable gives both sides time to integrate the platform into existing systems and clinical routines. Large US providers are shifting heavy imaging workloads into specialised cloud environments.
Operationally, the announcement comes with a leadership shake-up at Pro Medicus. The company reports that its head of business operations and investor relations will step down on 14 August after 18 years.
That role has been central to managing investor communications and supporting large, complex deals like this one. Investors now weigh the upside of the Beth Israel Lahey Health contract against the task of backfilling a long-serving executive.
