The tip, as it reached us

Coles has begun notifying employees whose roles will be made redundant in the first wave. Notifications are reportedly being delayed for employees who have not completed their shadowing sessions, apparently to maximise compliance with the shadowing process before redundancy outcomes are communicated.

The first wave is expected to affect approximately 450–500 roles, depending on final decisions regarding role scope. The second wave is projected to be similar or slightly larger, affecting around 500–550 roles, although this will also depend on final scope decisions.
