Pro Medicus has secured a $24 million contract with Billings Clinic - Logan Health, The Motley Fool Australia reported, bringing its cloud-based imaging platform to a not-for-profit healthcare provider that operates 25 hospitals and more than 1,000 beds across Montana and surrounding states. Rollout planning has commenced, with a target go-live date in early 2027.
The organisation serves patients across a multi-state rural area. Visage 7's full platform will be integrated under the contract, with image distribution forming part of the client's electronic health record system. Pro Medicus said it would begin rollout planning using its established cloud-based implementation processes.
Pro Medicus management described Billings Clinic - Logan Health as the latest in a growing number of clients to choose the fully cloud-based platform, and said the CloudPACS strategy was making that platform the standard across the North American healthcare IT market. The company pointed to a strong sales pipeline in North America covering all market segments and put its share of the US market at around 11%.
During FY26, Pro Medicus added 10 new contracts with a combined minimum value of $407 million, plus six renewals. Every one of the six contract renewals was completed with higher transaction fees than before. Pro Medicus has been expanding its platform beyond radiology into cardiology, digital pathology and AI-supported reporting.
Pro Medicus shares were trading at $177.64 at the time of the Yahoo Finance report. Over the 12 months prior to the Motley Fool report, the shares declined 39%, while the S&P/ASX 200 declined 2% over the same period. Over the five years prior to the Yahoo Finance report, the shares gained 227.8%.
