WiseTech Global is pushing back against media reports suggesting its commercial partnership with DSV, the world’s largest freight forwarder, is under threat. The logistics software group says DSV remains an active customer and transaction volumes between the two companies have climbed about 20% over the past six months.
Market attention had sharpened after WiseTech announced that its co-founder and former chief executive would step down as executive chair, prompting questions about key relationships. WiseTech is now emphasising stability rather than strain.
Under their current agreement, WiseTech and DSV are locked into a contract that runs through to September 2028 and includes what WiseTech calls a substantial financial commitment. That long-term deal underpins the freight forwarder’s use of WiseTech’s software platform across its operations.
The company stresses that existing commercial terms continue to apply and are being actively used. It positions the contract as evidence the partnership is not in immediate jeopardy.
Alongside defending the current arrangement, WiseTech says it is still in talks with DSV about expanding their collaboration. Those discussions include potential new areas of work that could extend beyond the 2028 contract horizon.
